Pharmacology

Sidharthaka snana churna:

Sidharthaka snana churna is enriched by the extracts of 10 Herbs, namely Musta, Madanaphala, Amalaki, Bibhitaki, Haritaki, Karanja, Aragwadha,Indrayava, Daruharidra, Saptaparna which is scientifically incorporated to give protection from various skin problems. It is an astringent, anti-septic and anti-fungal. It cleanses the skin from surface microbes and toxins.

Musta:

It is cooling, astringent, appetizer. It helps in relieving itching.

Madanaphala:

It is helpful in curing skin disorders and allergies, it regulates the histamine secretion and helps building immunity to fight against various allergens.

Amalaki:

It has cell rejuvenating properties and as a result it is used in maintaining good health of skin.

Bibhitaki:

Bibhitaki is an antiseptic and used externally as a lotion and paste to treat skin problems. It has rejuvenating properties.

Haritaki:

It is useful in skin disorders with discharges like allergies, urticaria and other erythematous disorders.

Karanja:

Karanja is prized for its insecticidal and antiseptic properties. It can be used to treat eczema, psoriasis, skin ulcers and to promote wound healing.

Aragwadha:

It helps to eliminate pitta toxins from the rasa and rakta dhatu it benefits skin aggravations by cleansing the blood. Most useful for hot and damp skin conditions with itching, suppuration and inflammation.

Indrayava:

It is used externally as a remedy for skin disease. It is useful in treatment of piles, skin diseases and biliousness.

Daruharidra:

It is used for all skin problems with inflammation, redness.

Saptaparna:

It is used as a bitter and as an astringent herb for treating skin disorders, it is very effective in fungal infections.
